| One pic a day. Day #51 |
Last week me and my girlfriend went to this fantastic exhibition at Kulturhuset (Culture House) here in Stockholm, called Aquanauts. It was amazing. The atmosphere, the light, the sound and of course the exhibition pieces themselves. So much work has gone into this. I can’t even begin to explain what it’s all about. This is a link to the Aquanauts homepage (in Swedish). Maybe I will extend this post with more pictures later.
Sometimes we just take the subway and see where it leads us. This time we ended up in Västra Skogen.
Me and my girlfriend went down to the fields by the airport to play in with our cameras in the dark. Put the camera on a tripod and set it for long exposure times. Go crazy with your light source. Here we used a multi colored led lamp. My settings: ISO 200/F11/Exposure: 10 seconds.
Me and my girlfriend went to the old concrete silo in Bålsta outside of Stockholm. They are going to tear it down, so we wanted some pictures before it's to late.
We went to the island Lidingö in Stockholm to take some pictures of Fyrtornet (Light-tower). The unique looking building is designed by Wingårdh and placed in the newly developed area called Dalénum. The name comes from the famous inventor Gustav Dalén who worked for the well known company AGA which resided in this spot on Lidingö. Dalén is most famous for inventing equipment for gas powered light-houses.
Yesterday we went to Kungsträdgården here in Stockholm. We tried to blend in with all the tourists to take som pictures of the beautiful cherry blossoms.
The Scandic Victoria Tower is a skyscraper hotel in the Kista district of Stockholm, Sweden. It is also known as the Victoria Tower, however the Scandic name is used to distinguish it from the Victoria Tower that forms the southwest end of the Palace of Westminster. The 117 metre hotel is one of the tallest buildings in Stockholm, as well as the tallest hotel in Scandinavia. It is named for Crown Princess Victoria, the heir apparent to the Swedish throne.
Me and my girlfriend went there yesterday (I work in Kista) to take some pictures.

Yesterday was a cold day, so my girlfriend suggested that we spend our “photo date” underground in the subway of Stockholm.
