"Just as we drew attention to light last week, this week the challenge is to take a photo evoking night."
This picture could easily be in the previous category "Light", but it shows Stockholm in the night.

"Light is all around us, most of the day. Whether it’s natural light, or artificial light, it’s everywhere. Your challenge this week is to draw attention to light"
We went out in the evening to the city in hope to catch some light. Of course we brought some wine and cheese to fight the cold.
"The first of the Feeling challenge. It’s very early in the year, I know, but it’s Valentine’s Day. What better day to be photographing love?"
Me and my girlfriend are not much into this Valentine's stuff, but earlier this winter she gave me this heart to keep me safe in the dark. That's love!
This time of year here in Sweden the sun raises late and sets early (if you can see it at all for all the clouds), so you have to time your shot to the second.

This week the challenge was to take a photo of the nature around you. I took this picture of a bird in the apple tree outside my office.
It’s not easy to take pictures of a sunrise here in Sweden this time of year. The sun rises quite late and it is mostly cloudy. This is a “late” sunrise when I got lucky and had a small gap in the clouds.
The challenge was actually not to take a photo, but to study a picture and assess what you liked/didn't like about it. Of course i missed that totally and took a picture of some of my own study subjects.
It’s been a while since i buried myself in this book. Maybe it’s time to pick it up again.

We have started a new photo challenge here. We are rubbish at completing these challenges, but here we go again. Here's the link.
