We just recently found out about this historic landmark in Stockholm. It’s strange since we both have been living here most of our lives and should not have been able to miss it.

This water reservoir was drawn by the architect Paul Hedqvist in 1935 in a functionalistic style. Now i would like to call it more as a brutalist monument.

The days of X-mas past!

This x-mas came and went away in a hurry. I could not keep up with the posting of pictures once a day, so better call that challenge a loss.

An evening on the streets of Stockholm

We went out on the streets of Stockholm to see what we could find. 

Halloween at Gröna Lund

Gröna Lund is the famous amusement park located at Djurgården in central Stockholm. Annually, around Halloween they decorate the park and arrange Halloween themed events. 

We didn't want to pay the excessive entrance fee, so we stayed outside trying to get some nice pictures in the dark. Long exposures with a tripod and some good timing can get you a long way. 

This is actually "Eclipse". One of the worlds highest (121 meters) Wave Swinger (or Star Flyers).
