Painting with light
Me and my girlfriend went down to the fields by the airport to play in with our cameras in the dark. Put the camera on a tripod and set it for long exposure times. Go crazy with your light source. Here we used a multi colored led lamp. My settings: ISO 200/F11/Exposure: 10 seconds.

Analog Minolta SRT 101 B
I bought this fantastic Minolta from a friend. Haven’t had all much success with analogue photo lately, but I gave this camera a run. It performed, going to try color film next. Me and my girlfriend are both into this, so more to come.

The Light-tower
We went to the island Lidingö in Stockholm to take some pictures of Fyrtornet (Light-tower). The unique looking building is designed by Wingårdh and placed in the newly developed area called Dalénum. The name comes from the famous inventor Gustav Dalén who worked for the well known company AGA which resided in this spot on Lidingö. Dalén is most famous for inventing equipment for gas powered light-houses.

Not this time...
Since we suck at completing our photo challenges my girlfriend has decided to try another 30-day challenge. This time I’m not going to join her. I have some other photo projects in the pipeline.

The Scandic Victoria Tower in Kista
The Scandic Victoria Tower is a skyscraper hotel in the Kista district of Stockholm, Sweden. It is also known as the Victoria Tower, however the Scandic name is used to distinguish it from the Victoria Tower that forms the southwest end of the Palace of Westminster. The 117 metre hotel is one of the tallest buildings in Stockholm, as well as the tallest hotel in Scandinavia. It is named for Crown Princess Victoria, the heir apparent to the Swedish throne.
Me and my girlfriend went there yesterday (I work in Kista) to take some pictures.

The "Ugly" Ducklings
Not far from our homes there are two “smallish” lakes. They are home & nesting ground to a number of different species of birds. Me and my girlfriend went for a walk round the lakes earlier today, just to find a bunch of out favorites: The Swan.
Going Underground
Yesterday was a cold day, so my girlfriend suggested that we spend our “photo date” underground in the subway of Stockholm.

52 Week Photo Challenge #9: Night
"Just as we drew attention to light last week, this week the challenge is to take a photo evoking night."
This picture could easily be in the previous category "Light", but it shows Stockholm in the night.
