Birds down by the lakes

 We had a super nice "photo picnic" down by the lakes in Sundbyberg (Lötsjön/Råstasjön). I think we got some birds as a bonus. 

Uggleviksreservoaren

We just recently found out about this historic landmark in Stockholm. It’s strange since we both have been living here most of our lives and should not have been able to miss it.

This water reservoir was drawn by the architect Paul Hedqvist in 1935 in a functionalistic style. Now i would like to call it more as a brutalist monument.

The days of X-mas past!

This x-mas came and went away in a hurry. I could not keep up with the posting of pictures once a day, so better call that challenge a loss. 

Anyway, here is one i took just now with my new macro lens. I have to use it more.
